Over the past six months our Clinic has treated and admitted 116 patients. With the aid of the donated X-ray machine our veterinarians  can now easily diagnose if a patient has a fracture or even has lead or foreign bodies like glass in its digestive tract. This has been a huge help in effectively and speedily treating our patients. We are still requiring a vitals signs monitor for our theatre, so if you know of someone having a spare one lying about please put in a good word for us. A surgical light for the treatment room would be a huge plus for our team treating wounds in order to see the extent of the wound, check inside the wounds and effectively bandage areas that are often shadowed whilst using normal lighting. Presently we only have one stethoscope, so another would be really appreciated.

Over and above the equipment pieces we wish for, we are continuously using items such as guaze, 21 guage 1” needles, paraffin guaze, cotton wool and cleaning materials to name but a few. These may sound arbitrary, but are crucial in treating our patients.
